By the way GB member Van Ambergh had a beard up until his death about 1947.
He was the last part of the overlapping beard generation, hence the only reason he was tolerated by Rutherford.
the latest issue of the watchtower shows a man with a beard praying.. .
i fully expected to see him 'progress' to clean-shaven in the following pictures, but instead he is still bearded when 'applying bible principles'.. .
i then realized that he was already featured on the cover itself.. .

Another man with a scruffy beard is shown in another illustration, and not in a negative light.
And then there's the big ones. I believe the following paintings are the first time in Watchtower history that a bearded person who is NOT a Bible character is shown in paradise.

it's so obviously made by a jw under the pretense of being neutral but the gushing is ridiculous.. there's a clip from it here:.

just before the pandemic affected my area, a couple of jws came to my door.
this was the first time i didn't tell them to hit the road but instead had a pleasant conversation with them.
i never revealed that i am a former jw, nor do i ever want the jws in my area to know that i was ever one.
I was thinking about mentioning the pandemic of the early 1900s (Spanish Flu). The total slaughter of people during the 1930s and 1940s; Germany and the Jews and others they consider undesirables, Japan and the Chinese people, Russia and their own citizens, just to name a few.
Trust me this isn't a good idea. All that will do is confirm in her mind that we're living in the last days, because that's when they all took place.
P.S.
Even if you personally don't believe in the Bible, jumping all the way to skepticism probably won't be good as that would just raise their defenses to everything you say.
i did this in my facebook group for my podcast and it was fun.. so what's the craziest thing you ever saw?.
for me it was watching a brother have a heart attack during the meeting in the auditorium.
i was a kid and noticed him shaking and acting strange.
A father pulling down his son's pants to spank his bare bottom in the back of the Hall, in front of others.
zoom been down in parts of the uk today so church services and meeting been disrupted.. a news paper published some comments and jokes about it .
"looks like the church broke the internet".
"zoom is down.
It's funny, there are several other apps that work just like Zoom, but they're not allowed to use them without Mother's permission.
my great granddad met abraham lincoln when he was a boy.
when i was a kid i met him, he was 100+.
so according to the generation teaching i knew lincoln.
Brilliant 👌
The generation teaching, not so much.
this was sent to me by a cooky uber-dub.
apparently it's making the rounds locally...it's typical lighthearted jw satire (that they think is great!!
smh :-/ ) .
🤮 oh God this makes me want to puke
I bet they're all clean-shaven too with jackets and ties.
jehovah's witnesses are funny in that most have no objective, self-aware view of themselves.
they think they are the center of the universe, that their beliefs are undeniable facts, and are generally very entitled.
yet another added this:.
Exactly Phizzy. Often the most ardent defenders are those with the biggest doubts. I know, I was that way at first.
